Breaking All the Rules

I work in radio, which people assume is a relaxed enviornment. In some ways it is, but I happen to work in the sales department… it can get a little intense. The dress code for the sales department is business casual, meaning no jeans. I live in jeans! So, this blog is also another way to motivate me to be more creative without jeans. Baby steps mean black skinny pants – I probably wear these the majority of the work week – gross I know, but I do laundry, so it’s ok.

*Black pants: Macys (Jessica Simpson). Shoes: Target. Belt and Shirt: Goodwill

*Side note: I giggle everytime I, or someone else, is wearing, or even mentions black and blue. I am actually a huge Backstreet Boys fan and that’s the name of one of their albums. Of course when that album came out, I went to go buy it decked out in black and blue (with coordinating nail polish and temporary hair spray color). Also, it only took me two posts on this blog to reveal what a freak I am.

If I look awkward, it’s because I am. It’s also because about twenty cars were coming towards me on this busy road during rush hour in the morning while I was posing.

It’s a little hard to tell, but my belt is brown. I don’t usually follow any fashion “rules” about matching. I like brown belts with black pants and shoes. It may be because I don’t have a black belt, but I would do it again even if I did have one! I know, I’m a rebel – a rule breaker for sure.

Is it odd that I like the fuzzy, out of focus pictures the most?

I look a little like a duck who has to pee. I like it. I told you I am a freak.
