The one with the blue pants

Another weekend trip, come and gone, and back to reality – until Friday that is. Vegas was full of fun and I have the bruises and lost voice to prove it. Imagine the most tired you’ve ever been – multiply it by a few hundred and that’s how feel. But it’s all part of the experience. I would rather take these mini trips and be dead tired for a couple days than not.

You know how when you are the most incapable to speak, that is when people want to chat the most? That – all day long. I literally can only speak in a whisper and everyone is wanting to chat me up. It could be worse. I could be at the dentist with a fist in my mouth and he could be conversing with me (the worst).

P.S. Obviously obsessed with italics today.

Unfortunately, I do not have any Vegas pictures to share. What they say is true. It all stays there. Or at the very least, doesn’t leave the car after the six hour ride home.

Moving on, why do I always look a little shocked that my picture is being taken?

This jacket makes me feel like a greaser.

Lately, I’ve been really loving colors and prints.  I’ve always been a boring neutral color, solid print kind of gal. I guess this whole world of blogging has created a more adventurous me. Yes, wearing color and prints is an adventure for me. I told you, I used to be boring. Now instead of blending in, I get awkward side glances and my mom definitely raises her eye brows at my outfits more often. That’s when I know I’ve succeeded.

I tend to wear knit hats a lot in the summer – the summer heat and my thick, wavy hair don’t always get along, so it helps keep it tame. My grandma always comments, “Well it’s nice to see you have on your winter knit just in time for the heat.” PWNED. Only my grandma.

I like to take pictures in dirty alley ways to make myself look better. The truth is out.

My mascara migrates throughout the day to other parts of my face. I can usually play connect the (mascara) dots by the end of the day

Yeah, yeah, cuteness all around.

Or maybe not. I like to ruin pictures.
