Sassy pants

*Bloglovin’ * Facebook * Twitter

So, I made these last night. These would be called diabetes brownie cupcakes with cookie dough frosting. Oh, and a cookie on top because they didn’t have enough sugar already. You guys. I mean, really. Am I single handedly attributing to the country’s obesity problem? Or just spreading joy and love to others through sugar and chocolate? I’m going to believe the latter because I cannot afford to eat all of my own baked goods. I take orders.

If I could, I would bake all of you a brownie cupcake with cookie dough frosting. Unless you really do have diabetes. In that case, I apologize for the off color jokes.

I cannot help but think of marble cake when I wear these pants. Yes, I am obsessed with desserts.

But really. How amazing are these pants? I can’t count how many times I’ve worn them in the past few weeks. That’s a lie. I can, but it’s still a lot.

I saw this today and thought it was perfect. These are my sassy pants. I’m really getting into sassy pants lately. They are way better than sassy tops. Do you have sassy pants?

This is my ‘trying to be a really cool blogger’ pose. Did it work?

I know this looks like a serene environment, but what you wouldn’t expect is that we had to remove trash from this Los Angeles street gutter before taking photos. Oh the glamorous life of a blogger.

IMG_5431-out

Also, I had to take my bra off. In the middle of a sidewalk. With a bum staring at me. Those are all the details I am willing to divulge at this time.

Ugly Mug and I be in New York in less than two weeks. Any suggestions for what we should do, see, eat, and shop?

No need to panic – I am going to try my best to schedule posts for that week.

I think cupcakes only spread joy and love, not diabetes. 🙂 Then again, I’ve started eating Nutella out of the jar with a spoon, so perhaps I’m biased …
Great pants! The marbleized pattern is fun.

  3. How do you get so lucky thrifting!!? WANT the pants.

I do not have sassy pants, but I need to get some asap.

While you’re in NYC I think you should get a falafel from Mamoun’s and while you’re on St. Mark’s Pl you might as well stop in at Search&Destroy because that is a crazy thrift store. Have fun! =)

These are greatt & I love that funny image you have up there, haha. I’d go to Chicken and Rice! It’s a cheap ($6) halal stand that has reallyyy good food. I always get the mixed platter (chicken and lamb) but there’s different options! It’s on 56th &3rd. It opens around evening/night–you’ll see a giant line packed down the block, but they serve really quickly.

I think those are great sassy pants. I can suggest La Bonne Soupe in Manhattan as a place to eat, they have the best soup ever. Also, I find Brooklyn a cool area. A little more of the beat and path, but there are still some interesting places to see.

  35. I’d call it spreading happiness. Life is too short to skip dessert! And I’m actually summering in NYC this year, so I have plenty of tips. First off, it is H-O-T here (ugh, I hate the heat). So be prepared! Other than that, make sure you visit Serendipity for dessert, Crumbs for cupcakes, Sakaguru for an underground sushi experience (and crazy toilets), and the Union Square market!

I have a fashion/food/lifestyle blog, too, do you want to follow each other? Let me know if you follow me and I’ll follow back!
