What do you do when you need to clear your mind? I went on a solo hike today and those moments are always some of the most clarifying I have. I am not  fan of working out; to be honest, who can really say they are? It sucks. I don’t like to be hot, sweaty, and unable to breathe. But, I do it and I do it often. I usually stick to group classes at the gym, but it is so nice to venture out on a mini adventure, alone.

I am thinking of begining a new feature on my blog that focuses on health. Nothing too serious or disciplined, focusing on support. I am thinking that I need to be held accountable for in order to really stay focused.

Does that sound like something you would be interested in?

Wearing knee high socks makes me feel like a child, and a little bit like a street walker. Taking photos in a back ally way does not help with the street walker feeling. How old is too old to wear knee highs?

I’m feeling a bit haggard lately. Sleep deprivation does that to you. Also, unwashed hair with two day old hair spray in it; a lot of hair spray. That will do it too. Sorry, I’m a bit gross. Actually no, I’m not sorry. Every girl tries to keep her hair after getting it done. That is half the reasons I went to high school dances, to get my hair done and hope that it keeps the next few days.

What a beautiful look! The print on the dress is lovely and the jacket and headband are great! Would love to see some health-related posts here in the future. Happy weekend! xo

  2. Never apologize for being gross. We all are from time to time. 🙂

I actually prefer to work out alone – hiking and biking are my two faves. However, the weather here sucks, so I might venture out of my comfort zone and take a class or two at the university I work at (since they’re free for me…yay).

Hope you’re having a great weekend!

  3. What a great look! No worries – I didn’t get a streetwalker vibe at all! I think a health feature would be very interesting…it’s definitely something I need to be more accountable for, as well.

Gorgeous, as always! I love how slouchy your cardigan is! 🙂 And I completely understand the feeling of sleep deprivation (completely inevitable as a doctor!). Hope you catch up soon. 🙂

  8. I love your boho style in this outfit! The hair turban looks so awesome on you. I really want to get one but I’m afraid it will mess up my hair 😦 I guess I could just use it for hair I’m trying to keep after a wash like you. That would be an idea!
