June gloom has come early! It’s been gloomy and almost on the chilly side in LA lately and I could not be more in love with it!

Summer is right around the corner and my weekends are becoming full with road trips, family gatherings, birthdays, and visions of the beach, barbeques, and probably many weekend afternoons thrift shopping and antique fair hopping. Our little home is finally coming together and we’re looking for a few more unique pieces to add and LA antique thrift stores, flea markets, and antique fairs are almost overwhemlingly stocked. If I can figure out indoor photography, perhaps I will share some photos of my favorite areas when we are finished! I would love to be able to add more life style posts to this blog; it’s just the time needed to so that I need to find!

I’ve had this dress for a couple years now and this is the first time I’ve worn it. I don’t know why because seeing these pictures reminds me how much I loved this outfit and I just want to keep remixing it! I tend to collect thrifted items, even when I have no idea how to style them, but when I figure it out, even years later, I’ll live in the damn thing!

Other things, I keep for years, even when they are literally falling apart, wearing them day after day. Like this jacket; it almost looks like it’s intentional, the grunge look. Not so, this jacket has just been overworn and is showing its age. Despite the little faux leather flakes that follow me around when I wear it, I love it just as much as when it was new. It is the perfect amount of worn in, and I think the wear almost adds to the image.
